I bought the ButtKicker the audio signal wirelessly from the Yamaha sound bar, send email to the articulating mount is mounted on the same as my Vizio to the subwoofer that I had from a previous surround-sound setup. A few years ago I was happy to tuck wires next to the baseboard to hide since the carpet a decent job, she did, but now I am in a house with hardwood floors and there is a sliding glass door between the wall my TV is on and the corner where I wanted to go to my subwoofer. Yikes!Running the subwoofer cable in the wall is not in my budget, so I decided to try a wireless system. After reading about many different, I decided I wanted to try the ButtKicker.

Setup was super easy, and when I turned the little knob on the back of the "send" unit, I began to hear some very nice bass sound, even though there is no cable across my floor. I was thrilled!

The only question I with the ButtKicker is that there is a slight hum that Ido not see to get rid of. Well, it is not necessarily a growl as much as a very low and quiet rumble that is there, even if the TV and the Yamaha sound bar are turned off. It is not very bad, but since my wife has not noticed at all in the two weeks that we have had him in the living room. I'm just that picky? Maybe.

I have found that the best thing for the "send" and "receive" is units to actually be able to see each other as if they see using an infraredSignal (which they are not), but if that is not possible or if it is possible, but you do not really want these two bricks to sit outside, where guests can see them … I suggest playing with the potentiometer (knob) on the back of the transmitter unit and the crossover and gain control on your subwoofer to the "sweet spot", a low rumble that can produce the least.

Personally, I've found that setting the "Send" button to turn the unit around 25% and then with the gain control on the backthe subwoofer (currently at about 40%) works best.

I would like to also note that you can experience the quiet, deep, rumbling, if you connect directly to your ButtKicker to your audio receiver with a short cable. It is entirely possible that the signal interference my thunder, a signal that the subwoofer cable is rising, as it runs into the wall from the TV bracket to the wall mounted shelf where the DirecTV receiver and Blu-ray Players seated causes. Inot yet been tested on the ButtKicker in any other configurations, because my setup will not change.

As I said before, but my wife did not even notice the quiet rumble from the subwoofer and my buddy did not know it either when he came on show in the new facility. I think partly because where are the TV and Yamaha Sound Bar on the ButtKicker works wonderfully. Only when everything is gone and I read in my living room quite calmly, that I realizethat quiet rumble that makes me give the ButtKicker BK-LINK RF system is a 4 instead of a 5-star rating.

I replaced my Linksys WRT600N this morning. Before the swap, I have an Internet speed test for all three (of my desktop computers on a 1GB Cat 5E line 2.4 GHz laptop with N, and TouchSmart all-in-one on a 2.4-GHz-N). I was about 7 Mbs to 5 Mbs on the desktop via the wireless devices. Immediately after the swap router, I ran the tests again and had more than 10 Mbs on all three (50% improvement on the table and) 100% of the wireless devices. I have come soonerintermittent HD-quality streaming Netflix on my LG BD Player (with cable), but the first (and only so far), I tried it with the new router it went right to HD. So far, it looks like the best $ 150 I spent for a while.

The setup disk does not like my 64-bit Win 7 Home, but the manual setup was straight forward (I think I might have tried 32-bit emulation mode, but do not remember) during the period.
